More Lessons from Ice Skating
Knowing how to go forwards and backwards is never enough. The trick is in changing direction at will.
The more stable you are, the harder it is to make a turn, and consequently, to avoid danger.
It is never too crowded. It all depends on how fast you are moving.
If you turn just before hitting the wall, you will stop without making a din.
If you can’t turn in one direction, keep turning in the other direction.
Looking backwards all the time when trying to go backwards causes you to go in the original direction you were headed.
If you intend to jump, make sure you can land on your feet.
